You own the prompts, inputs, manuscripts, and generated output associated with your Inkwright account. Inkwright claims no ownership over the novels, outlines, character bibles, or cover art produced through the service. You are solely responsible for how you use, publish, distribute, monetize, or license that output.
Inkwright is not responsible for anything a user generates, uploads, publishes, or distributes.You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating every piece of output before publication. By using Inkwright, you agree to indemnify and hold Inkwright, its operators, contractors, and affiliates harmless against any claims arising from content you generate with or upload to the service.
Do NOT use copyrighted material you do not own the rights to for outline seeding, manuscript import, generation prompts, style mimicry, or author voice fingerprinting. This includes — but is not limited to — uploading someone else's novel, pasting excerpts you do not own, fingerprinting a living author's voice without permission, or asking the AI to imitate a protected work. Violations may result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of your account without refund. You are solely liable for any resulting infringement claims.
Inkwright is a creative tool. We make no warranty that generated content is free from similarity to existing works, that it is eligible for copyright registration, or that it will be accepted by any specific publishing platform. We are not liable for any legal, regulatory, takedown, or copyright issues users encounter if they publish generated content. Consult a qualified attorney before publishing if you have concerns.
AI output may contain factual errors, hallucinated citations, internal inconsistencies, stylistic artifacts, offensive content, or unintended similarity to existing works. Users are required to perform their own due diligence — fact-check every claim, proofread every scene, run a plagiarism check, and review sensitive content before publishing. Inkwright's continuity and editorial tools are aids, not guarantees.
Inkwright makes no guarantees regarding the literary quality, commercial viability, or publication-readiness of any generated content. We do not guarantee that generated manuscripts or covers will be accepted by Amazon KDP, Apple Books, IngramSpark, agents, publishers, or any third-party platform. Acceptance is governed by those platforms' own policies, which can change at any time.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Generation failures, model outages, Ink deductions during failed runs, lost drafts, and export defects may occur; while we make best efforts to prevent them, we do not warrant against them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inkwright's aggregate liability to any user for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount the user paid to Inkwright in the three (3) months preceding the claim. Inkwright is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost royalties, lost publication opportunities, or reputational harm.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute, claim, or litigation arising out of or relating to Inkwright, the service, or these terms must be filed and litigated exclusively in the courts of Puerto Rico. You waive any objection to personal jurisdiction or venue in that forum.
In any dispute, claim, or action arising out of or relating to Inkwright or these terms, the suing party is responsible for all legal fees, costs, and expenses — including Inkwright's reasonable attorneys' fees — regardless of outcome. This clause survives termination of your account.
You agree not to use Inkwright to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, child sexual abuse material, targeted harassment of a real identifiable person, detailed instructions for real-world violence or weapons of mass harm, or content that violates a third party's copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations without refund.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Ink is consumed as AI operations run; Ink spent on successful operations is non-refundable. Unused Ink may roll over up to the limit of your tier. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Chargebacks that bypass our support process may result in permanent account closure.
Manuscripts, outlines, character bibles, and voice fingerprints you upload are stored for your use only and are not used to train third-party AI models. We transmit content to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to fulfil your generation requests. You can delete your projects at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
